About

Will Gordon is a documentary filmmaker and editor whose work focuses on creative practice, environmental, and human-centered storytelling. His films span commercial, documentary, and independent art spaces, with a focus on preserving the lived experience behind creative work.

Will moved to Los Angeles in 2017, where he climbed through the ranks on-set and edited his first feature film in 2019. He worked with MotorTrend Channel as a Camera/Drone Operator for several on-location original series, including Roadkill, Throttle Out, Dirt Every Day, and more. He continued his post-career working with Lightsmith Post’s mobile post-production suite (van) for DIT/Color/Edit sessions. He has since edited various commercial and documentary projects, including living in India during a 4-month project (State of Siege: 26/11, 2020 ), to then working in the heart of the Tetons in Wyoming, where he completed award-winning documentaries and shorts with Fisher Creative (A Rally for Rangers, Rangers of the Ulaan Taiga, In Pursuit of Passive.) He completed a degree in Digital Filmmaking from SAE Expression College in 2017.

Will currently lives in the Bay Area with his wife, two sons, and two dogs.
